Deantoir was commissioned to design the expansion of a Boutique store, doubling its footprint with a modern 1,000-square-foot addition. The client sought a design that would engage the main street, provide shaded outdoor gathering areas for Florida’s hot climate, and reflect a contemporary aesthetic.

The new structure was aligned along a central axis and divided by a natural breezeway for passive cooling. A wraparound canopy and brise-soleil elements provide dynamic shade, informed by detailed sun studies. The redesigned site plan added eight parking spaces, introduced soft landscaping, and balanced the clean modern architecture with natural textures.

The result is a refined, climate-responsive design that elevates both form and function for the Boutique’s first brick and mortar location.
